Dr. Kaiwal Patel is a board-certified anesthesiologist with additional fellowship training in Pain Medicine. He is certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) in Anesthesiology and is in the process of completing his certification in Pain Medicine.

Dr. Patel earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Rutgers University’s Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He completed his residency in Anesthesiology at Yale School of Medicine, where he gained extensive training in advanced anesthetic techniques.

Following residency, Dr. Patel pursued a fellowship in Pain Medicine at Duke University School of Medicine. His fellowship focused on the management of complex pain conditions and advanced interventional pain management.

Dr. Patel joined Spine Institute of Central Florida in 2024. In his current role, he provides expert pain management and anesthesiology services, contributing to the institute’s commitment to innovative and comprehensive spinal care. His clinical expertise encompasses a wide range of pain management interventions, from minimally invasive procedures to comprehensive multimodal strategies, including responsible medication management for chronic pain. Dr. Patel is renowned for his patient-centered approach, tailoring individualized treatment plans to achieve optimal outcomes.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Patel is actively involved in research and education. He has contributed to numerous peer-reviewed journals and presented his research at national and international conferences, demonstrating his dedication to advancing the fields of anesthesiology and pain medicine.

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Patel enjoys a variety of hobbies that enhance his well-being and creativity. He is an avid photographer, capturing landscapes and urban scenes during his travels. Hiking and exploring the outdoors provide him with relaxation and inspiration, while cooking and experimenting with new recipes offer a creative outlet and a way to combine his love for food with culinary techniques.
