Patrick Horrell, ARNP-C earned his Master’s Degree in Nursing at South University as an Adult
Gerontology Nurse Practitioner. He is Board Certified through the American Academy of Nurse
Practitioners. He obtained his Bachelor’s in Nursing from Western Governor’s University and his Associate’s in Nursing from Hillsborough Community College. In addition, he holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of South Florida.
Patrick’s passion to help others started when he worked as a Registered Nurse at Lakeland
Regional Medical Center. After hard work and dedication, he moved into the Charge Nurse
position there. He truly enjoyed providing excellent patient care and educating staff. Patrick has
always felt a strong need to ensure patients are treated with excellent bedside manner. He also
took new nurses under his wing as a Preceptor to educate them in the best evidence based
practices to ensure positive outcomes for patients. While employed as a nurse, Patrick
identified the need for adequate pain management and sought out opportunities to ultimately
ensure all patients maximize their quality of life by feeling their best.
Patrick has volunteered at numerous organizations such as Francis House and Rotary’s Camp
Florida. During his volunteer work at these organizations, Patrick enjoyed learning about
community organizations and the possibilities of helping those in need.
Patrick has lived in Florida most of his life and currently resides in Riverview, Florida. In his free
time, Patrick enjoys spending time with his fiancée and two daughters as well as working out
and participating in Jiu-jitsu competitions.
